Wow! That's a lot of photos.

Today I took my last picture of my morning brew -- an entire year of a-photo-a-day of whatever I drank that morning. Mostly I drank hot tea, but sometimes it was coffee or hot chocolate. In the summer I think I took a few photographs of iced tea.

I can't say I'm not glad that this particular project has come to a close. I think I might have missed only a couple of days.

Now I just need to finish organizing them. I have them in photo files by months, but when I was downloading them a lot of the photos got out of order by day. Don't know that I'll ever do anything with them except keep them in these files. Maybe I'll print out some to use in journals from time to time, but I haven't yet.

I love it! What a great idea to use the Teesha Moore inspired squares for the Nook cover.
Thanks for sharing the photos!

I made it out of Teesha Moore squares. It's bright and colorful! Here is a post about it with pictures.

Looks like you've really got a lot done this year!

I didn't know what a Pazzles machine was, so I looked it up. Very versatile, but I can see where you'd probably end up spending a lot of time figuring it all out.

What did you make your Nook cover out of? Stitched?

Make a photo collage for graduation Done
Learn to make soldered pendants Done - I tried to do some more, I just can't get the hang of it.
Learn to use the Pazzles machine - I gave the Pazzles back so no go.
Start crafting for the Duck's Unlimited banquet in March this year so that I can have lots done by next February and not have to rush it. I made a bracelet and a couple tie blankets for other chapters. Looks like I'll be rushing for ours.
Make myself a Nook cover - Done
Make myself a purse. Nope
Make coworker a purse - Done
Make a stenciled sweatshirt Nope
If I get that all done, I'd love to get a metal stamping set. Can't justify it yet.
Althought there is a nice duck head stamp that would be pretty cool for making Duck's Unlimited stuff. emoticon

There have been so many great goals posted on this thread. How have all of you been doing?

Please let us know what goals you have met in 2012 (and they don't have to have been mentioned on this thread before).

Remember, you're always welcome to post your pictures in the team photo section, too.

My project is recycling plastic shopping bags. I cut up the bags and then crochet them together into a mat for the homeless to sleep on. When you put them on the ground it keeps them off the cold wet ground. They can also be made smaller for a door rug or a mat for someone to sit on the concrete beside a pool, or even into tote bags. I prefer to make the mats for the homeless to carry with them and then have them to sleep on and stay off the wet ground.

I'm still taking a photo a day of my morning tea -- but sometimes it's coffee or chocolate milk!

That is quite a project! I hope you do finish.

My current project is not so lofty. I am decorating an old recycled chair for my yard.

I am notorious for starting projects but never completing them. How many of us have half completed projects? emoticon But a goal I've had for a while now (and a half completed project) is to scrapbook the Seaway Trail lighthouses. The Seaway Trail is a muli-use trail (cars, bikes, hikes, etc...) that starts in eastern PA on Lake Erie and continues to to the St. Lawrence Seaway on the Northern tip of Lake Ontario. The pictures have been taken and the paper has been selected. Now I need to put them both together in an album. emoticon

Good things come to those who SKATE!

That's a good idea. Thanks -- I'll start using some different colored placemats.

So far I've been taking all the photos on top of the kitchen counter with the tile wall in the background because my tabletop has disappeared under craft items. Another good reason to clear it off!

Still going on my photo-a-day so far (Day 8!).

I've chosen to document my morning cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or whatever I'm drinking that day. One drawback that I can see already is that there is not much variation in my compositions. I have lots of different teapots and teacups, so that varies, but I need to think of ways to more creatively arrange and present them.

My craft goals for 2012 = Make some cloth bags for my church to deliver meals so they do not need to use plastic bags. I will be collecting old medication containers and giving them to a group that use them for giving weekly medications to the homeless.
