It went great.The weather couldn't have been better. Thank goodness the weatherman was wrong. The girls had a great time. We were way behind schedule, but that was the only hitch. Whew. Fall camp this weekend for 250 people. about 150 girls and 100 adults, this has to be a record for us. We had to split it into two nights.

If you got a traffic ticket would you break every traffic law the rest of the day? Then why toss the whole day over a slice of pizza? ~Indygirl

My plans are more SU related. We have Junior fun day tomorrow. Pray for no rain. Letter boxing and out door cooking. Also planning Leader fun day and fall camp for next month. Then I take a long break. Help motivate my daughter on her Gold Award.

we had our Service Unit Bridging/Investiture ceremony last weekend. It went pretty well. My girls sang a welcome song to the new Jrs & a goodby song to the jrs briging to cadettes.
The next big item for my troop is to go to the U & swim w/the syncronized swimming team.

Working on getting htem bridged, since we never got it done. We figured we better do it before we have to bridge them again. Bad leaders! We want to do it in the dark and have a scary hike with it. They are 15-16 years old.

What are you planning for your troop right now?

We are planning our investiture ceremony and planning an outting to the corn maze/pumpkin patch. I'm really excited about things to come for my troop!
