i am satisfied with the month of august although no wt loss but mostly my energy levels thru out the month were good so happy with that .

OMG!!! I completely forgot about this.....with my DH's raakhee sister's birthday plans and other hectic health stuff going on in my life! However, I am down to below 139lbs now - not sure if it is because the water was all gone....

Just wondering how everyone is doing. Its the end of August and tax season for me so work is taking up most of my time. But I'm trying to eat healthy, drink lots of water and exercise when I can. How are you?

Come trek with me! On my way to Hope, Arkansas!

I've gone 210.2 miles toward my 385 mile goal to Little Rock.

Okay...a bit slow here...sorry! Now I got it. I should set my own challenge.

Here goes.

1. Daily walks 10 minutes if I am OK, 30+ minutes if I'm feeling good.
2. Eat under 1450 calories for now until I can exercise more to raise it to 1500.
3. Pray daily in the morning, evening and night.
4. Meet my protein, carb, fat, fiber and salt requirements daily.
5. Pay special attention to my DH.

This week challenge is

1. 30 mins of exercise at least 5 days.
2. minimum 8 glasses of water .
3. Eat 5-7 servings of veggies

Not sure how many of these I can do now...but, here goes.

August 10

1.30 mins of exercise at least 5 days. Tried 2 minutes today...way too breathless to continue. Weather here is extremely hot. Only our apt is cool - even the hallways are HOT...sorry, cool fitness room is off limits for me for a while.
2. stay within calorie range .
3. minimum 8 glasses of water . emoticon
4. Eat 5-7 servings of veggies. are sprouted grains considered veggies?? Hehehe!

Thanks for sending the mail about challenge , i have joined SP a month back and just felt like loosing interest so this is right time to take some simple steps... i am soo ready for this

As most of us going through a lull phase i thought just to be committed again we can have our own challenges for this week and from AUG 17 -AUG 23 we can have different team challenge .

This week challenge is

1.30 mins of exercise at least 5 days.
2. stay within calorie range .
3. minimum 8 glasses of water .
