Well, it FINALLY looks like I'm fully healthy again. I had a really good run - pretty much the polar opposite of Friday's run. Managed 3 intervals of 800 meters in the 6 miles. The training plan called for 6 but my endurance has taken a hit with the 2 weeks of lost running in the last three weeks due to illness. Regardless, my goal pace was my hoped for race pace of 6:45 - meaning 3:22 or 3:23 half miles. What I managed was pretty good - 3:14, 3:29 and 3:26. The first one was actually .49, the second wad .52 and the last was dead on. All in all, not bad with an overall pace of 7:38. It will be great when I'm back to full strength.... :-)

I have a question for everyone. Should I count the miles that I did on an elliptical this past weekend? I'm a real stickler (for myself) when it comes to these kinds of things. I don't recall the mileage, but I went for 55 minutes each day Saturday and Sunday, and I know from the other info on the machine that I gave myself a good workout. I've been having to take a break from actual running because of a pulled piriformis. So, should I add the mileage and if so, how many miles? I doubt I went for more than five miles on either day. Thanks.
