Over the past 3 days I have parked at the far end of the parking lot and walked a further distance on at least two different occasions.

I challenge you to look for opportunities to be active-- take the stairs instead of using the elevator, park at the other end of the parking lot and walk, get up and walk while you wait for the kids to finish their practice, etc.
