If we are having the rally next April, I'll be more than willing to help however I can. Any time between now and next February will be very busy. I'd like to invite anyone from Haralson and Carroll counties.

Hey HWYGRL01, That would be great I will let you know what the date will be.

For the rally it will be all up to you on how you will want to handle it. You pick the place, what you want to do at your rally, if any prizes that will be up to you as well and if you need to charge a fee to cover any cost that you may be out. You can keep it totally free like having a walk or something like that then maybe a picnic after. You can start planing now if you like.

Let me know what area and if you really do want to do this and I will make you co-leader of this team. So you can have your own thread for your rally. Then I will make the thread for you so you can post in it for volunteers to help you.

Thanks for all your help! I will be sending out a spark mail soon letting everyone know that we will be having another rally coming up.

where and when is the next rally going to be? I agree it would be fun to hike/walk with other spark members. I live in cobb county and would be interested in helping out if you have one in my area.

The North Georgia is planning to get together again soon. Just a small group of us to go back to West Bank Park. We are doing a small walk so I can join in this time and then we will have a picnic by the lake. I don't know the date or time as of now but if you would like to join us for a small get together please let me know.

I agree BMORE73...I think getting together to actually do some type of physical activity is an excellent idea. I really enjoyed hiking the trails at Sweet Water.

That's a great idea. A walk or hike is always good. Also a swap of nutrition (diet) books, health & fitness magazines, DVDs and tapes, and possibly exercise equipment not being used.

Now that would be a great idea. Instead of a rally perhaps a spark walk/hike. This way we are really encouraging people to exercise! Now I would totally be up for that and then if only 2 people were able to come I would still get a good walk/hike in. Biking would be fun too. We could do a two part walk/hike/bike. One for beginners and one for advance with two different start times.

I was shocked that not that many attended but I won't let that one stop me from attending the next. I want to mingle and meet people who are on the same journey as I am. I want to talk to people who take a few hours out of a Saturday and spend time talking about being fit. I hope the next rally will be more of an exercise rally. You know like meeting up at the Silver Comet trail and deciding to bike, walk or skate together.
