CHRISTMAS POINT CHALLENGE

I borrowed the idea for this challenge from another team and modified it a bit.

This challenge will run from Friday, November 5, 2010 through to December 24, 2010 for a total of 7 weeks.
(starting on Friday because Christmas Eve is on a Friday)

Hereís how it will work.

- 1 point if you eat 5 fruits &/or vegetables each day
max 1 per day

- 1 point if you did a minimum of 15 minutes exercise
max 2 per day.

- 1 point if you stayed within your calorie range
max 1 per day.

- 1 point if you posted to a message board on our team
max 1 per day.

FOR EVERY TIME YOU GO OFF PLAN ....LIKE HAVE A DONUT OR CANDY OR MUNCH ON CHIPS IN THE EVENING....YOU LOSE A POINT.... You will not lose any points if you do not get the point for any of the available points listed above. In other words, if you go over on your calorie range for a day, you do not loose any points, you just wonít earn that point. However, if you went over because you ate a big piece of chocolate cake and icing, then you would loose the point.

Total weekly total to be earned: - 5 per day - 35 per week.

If you earn 35 points every week for all 7 weeks of this challenge (total of 245 points) you will also get 5 bonus points for a total of 250 total points.

Each Friday you will post your points earned for the week Please use the same post and edit it so it will look like this: --
week 1 35 points,
week 2 35 points
week 3 32 points, and so forth.

This makes it easier for me to keep track of who is participating in the challenge and how each of you are progressing.

I hope many of you will join in this challenge. Letís use it to get ourselves ready for Christmas and reinforce good habits so we donít blow it over the holiday season.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask but basically own the challenge and make it your own.
