Oh, honey, I'm sorry that you are in the same boat as I am. It's not a fun boat! I finally left my husband. I'm controlling what I can, too: my physical activity and my eating. I wish I knew how to stop the ride because we want to get off! I will be thinking of you!

God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I don't know if this is the board to vent on, speak to, or one of the others, but I'm going to come out and say it, I resent my husband, I'm depressed, I'm angry and I'm just about sick of my life. The good thing... I'm controlling my eating and exercise for some stupid reason and those are usually the first to go. But I think I came to the conclusion this morning... those are the ONLY things in my life I can control right now. My finances are in ruins, my husband is out of work, I can't handle dealing with any more creditors. But I will work out and I will eat right.

Interesting that you bring this up. I've been feeling angry the past couple of days-but I think it's part of my depression. Talking to someone might really help. Intense exercise is also helpful for me.

I dont know if this is something you already do, or would be interested in, but I find that Yoga really helps me to relax my emotions...anger, stress, anxiety, whatever they may be.

You have plenty of reasons to be angry.

Do you have friends or family you can talk to about it? Or are you seeing a counselor? Are you at all in a position where you can calmly discuss the issues with your STBX?

Sometimes even just screaming into your pillow or beating it up can help. It sounds silly, I know, but I know from experience that it works.

I don't know if it's because I'm going through a divorce or if I'm just lonely and bummed about not being able to get a job, but i find that I have this anger that I don't know how to get rid of. Any ideas?
