So, I guess the challenge didn't start? Is there a way to maybe give it a shot again? Do an 8 week challenge starting sometime in the next week or two? I really need to get back on a strict plan again! I've been slacking! All the challenges I can get on the better!

I will do it I will get on it. I would love to try this challenge as I only about 8 lbs to go but 12 would be even better! So, I'm on board!

Anyone wanna join this challenge on Monday? I think I'm gonna try this one. Eight weeks from Monday is May 14th I believe. I'll try to post my starting weight on that day.

Subhanallah, if I knew this challenge was here, I wouldn't have started the five pound challenge. This is great. Based on the description, I have until August 31st to lose five more pounds, and that falls right in line with my September 1st goal. I'll post to this one on the 31st insha Allah.

I gained my 2 back last week. I have not been watching what I eat and I haven't been to the gym since my husband has been here. I need him to be encouraging---argh! Well, he will be leaving again soon and I'll get back on track. Its a month till Ramadan and I want to get down below 170 for sure. During Ramadan, I guess I wont be going to the gym during the day...I'll have to go a night...

Okay girls,

Here is my weekly weigh-in

SW=172
CW=170.6
GW=160

that means Im down 1.4. I need to work a little harder to achieve the 1.5 a week. Totally do-able because I was not a "good" sparker this week. emoticon . See ya next Sunday for a better loss. emoticon

Assalamu Alaikom sisters, we are at the beginning of July. Im getting a late start on this challenge but here it is... Losing 12lbs in 8 weeks seemed very reasonable. If one averaged 2lbs per week, one might even lose 16lbs.

So here is the challenge....

Lose 12lbs in 8 weeks.
Weigh-ins begin on July 1st.
Final Weigh-ins for end of challenge on August 31st

Late comers are always welcomed. Best of luck to all!!!!!

With the help of Allah and each other, we can do this... Don't be afraid to ask for help... there is no shame in it! emoticon
