Hi Sara! My name is Rana. I'm from Cairo,Egypt. I think i won't be able to give you the help you need but i want to suggest few things:
-Did you consider searching for internet groups?? (As for me i prefer going to a mosque but i'm just trying to give you other options.)
-Try contacting your local masjid again. Don't give up on them. Just try and try again till you receive a reply from them. I think it's the perfect solution. Going to a mosque near you has a lot of advantages.
I would be grateful if you update me with your news.. Good Luck!
Does anyone know of ladies study groups somewhere to help learn about the Qu'ran and things? Kind of like they do with children? I would really like to participate in a women's only class and learn. I live in the mobile area in AL. so, if any sisters know please let me know. I would love to meet new sisters and have that soial life for my children as well. It's very difficult to be a muslim in a majority christian community. Thank you for any information. By the way , I have tried to contact our local Masjid but I have had no reply. Thank you again.
