I love pandora! I already have a pandora station called "high energy pop remix", but there is no video with pandora, so I used to turn on the TV with captions and then put on headphones and stream pandora on my iphone. But local news at 6 am tends to be unscripted, so I mostly tried to figure out the puzzling captions, and what they were saying! Also, the video for "boom boom pow" is awesome. It's computer geeky, but so cool! Pandora is what I use when I jog outside, too. The pandora app for iphone is free and works great.
That is a great tip. I have a treadmill also, but it is so boring. Now I may move it.
Above all, don’t live with regrets. Approach life with perseverance and dedication to the things that matter most to you. Success is never easy. It remains up to you whether you will give up, or fight through the tough battles to earn whatever it is you want.
Another great website - pandora.com! You can setup a "radio station" and it'll play the music! I actually used Boom Boom Pow as my "preferred style" when setting up my radio station :) Oh and I named it... Good beat - for exercising! LOL
I am looking to buy a used treadmill or something before winter hits. I know exactly what room I want to put it in and the surround sound is a great idea. I thought I would just use my ipod, but your idea sounds better.
Okay, my husband and I are both web developers, so we live on the internet. We have a treadmill at the house, but watching TV can be rather dull, and the sound can't really go high enough to be heard over the treadmill, so closed captions have to be on, and there's nothing great on at 6:00 am anyway. We already had a PC in the room with high-speed internet, so we turned the treadmill around to face the monitor. We each went to youtube and set up an account with a playlist of our favorite music videos. Select "play all" from your playlist, and you've got all your favorite high energy videos to watch while you jog. We already had some pretty good speakers, but my husband got a new sound card and surround sound and now it's boom boom pow all the way! Luckily, the sleeping child is at the other end of the house.
