Fun activity for May 2 - took my son with me to the lake for 2.5 miles- this means my normal walk turns into interval training. think: walk, stop to look in the lake a while, sprint to race son on scooter, repeat for 2.5 miles. I found out I can beat my son in a sprint vs scooter race for about a tenth of a mile. We saw frogs, turtles, a giant Koi and lots of fish and newly hatched fish fry (about a thousand of them.)
That's fine! Everyone just post the things from my list that you want to track the most and don't worry about the rest. I find that if I don't count calories I end up eating on average 1000 more than I thought I did. So, I know I need it.

I'd love to see this group more active. I'm here to stay motivated with my fitness and am happy to share what I'm doing each day. I find I personally do better when I'm not worrying about calories or obsessing about weight (I threw out my scale years ago so it wouldn't remain an obsession) so I won't have much to add there.
Fun activity of the day: After several days of rain today was the perfect spring day (sunshine, 65 degrees) so I walked 2.4 miles. Saw jack-in-the pulpit and wild azalea blooming which made the walk fun for me.
