I adore clementine oranges. Next to that, any homemade smoothie with bananas and 1 teaspoon of peanut butter. I measure out 10 grams of peanut butter on a piece of wax paper on the digital food scale -- the magic of portion control, texture and fiber work together to keep me away from commercially - produced granola-type cereal bars. I had been using these cereal bars as a replacement for candy bars, but it was the wrong path for me. So the fruit - sweet fix seems to help for now.

Satisfying Your Sweet Tooth...On A Diet . How do you handle that?
Me, I eat 2-ozs of sweet once a week if I want it, but most of the time I don't eat any sweet at all.. My , Doctor told we two years ago after not having sweets for over 10-months to start adding sweet so that I don't over eat it or have alot of cravings for sugar and fattening desserts, that makes you overindulging in these foods. But I could only have 8 to 10 -ozs per month so I eat only 2-ozs per week and I love it.
