~~~FUN Saturday COMBO DAY~~~ Hopping, Skipping and Jumping Jacks and CORE QuickFire Combo
Part 1) Challenge to Do each broke down into a Hopping Skipping & Jumping .
HOPS: A hop is a forward or lateral movement in which the athlete takes off and lands on one or two feet, but unlike a jump in place, the athlete is moving directionally. Hopping exercises can include bunny hops, two-footed hops up steps, and hopping over cones or small hurdles (either side-to-side or forward and back). 50 each hops of your choice
SKIPPING: Itís nostalgic childhood fun, but itís good for you. For those of you who havenít skipped since primary school, youíll be surprised at how puffed you can get. Easier to do with jumping rope- but, use the "invisible one." Works just as well, if not better. As much as you can 1-2 minutes..
Parrt 2) JUMPING JACKS: Get your heart rate up and work your heart and lungs and burns fat and calories. Because it is weight bearing, you also build up your bones. 50-100 Jumping Jacks each, if 50 is easy double the number..
Part 3) THE QUICKFIRE OF THE DAY ARE ONE OF THE BEST CORE WORKOUTS- THE PLANKS! The plank exercise is ranked by ACE (The American Council on Exercise) as a top 10 Most Effective Ab Exercises and is a great way to build endurance in both the abs and back, as well as stabilizer muscles. try for 10-20 holding the plank for 30-60 seconds each.
