Ok so i need someone else's opinion, my first grader's class is making a basket for sale purposes to benefit the school and it's chocolate themed....I was going to send all my left over halloween candy....it's a bunch of tooties rolls, hershey bars, resse cups, etc.... too tacky??I'm either sending it there or to the nursing home where I use to work....lol
I do hope you are faring well thur the storm. I use to live in PA and New York, there is nothing I miss about an old fashion Nor'easter Storm. sending best wishes your way
This time of the year is worst for me, I've been doing good so far with the Halloween candy but Thanksgiving is the true test......I'm a sucker for mashed potatoes and pie.....lol. I didn't buy my favorite candy though. I'm not even sure what my favorite candy is to be honest...don't have it too often anymore...(whispering quietly to myself - I MISS CANDY)
I'd like to suggest, from personal experience, to ration the candy, I do believe you are heading for a long winter this year and you might have alot of power outages. Best of luck

We have had a massive storm here in the Northeast and have been without power for 7 days now. Pretty much, house to house halloween was cancelled so here I sit with bags of candy and of course, I only bought the kind I like! Not sure I get portion control as the candy continuosly calls my name! I will have to take it to work with me on Monday in order not to eat all of it. Once halloween is over, then I'm usually good until Christmas when we all feel a need to have holiday party after party which consists of major amount of eating.
