Modifications are cool. I use an exercise bench for pushups and planks so I get it. I figure as long as we try, we're good to go and my motto is "never give up".

Well to be honest I modified the mountain climbers by using a door instead of the floor. But yeah, I'm proud of the accomplishment. I followed it up with some stretching.

This morning I did a bed yoga stretch before I got out of bed and I'm feeling better (not as sore) as I expected. Plan for the evening is a walk after work after it cools down.

Another 50 minute muggy hike/walk today. I had to drop my truck off at the garage and I walked home from there. It was just under 1.5 miles. I walked along the road at certain parts and through 2 different conservation areas, too but it rained last night and conservation areas were buggy and muggy so I didn't venture into the deeper parts of the trails.

Still walking for exercise. Got 1 hour in on Saturday, rested Sunday & got 38 minutes in yesterday (Monday). Need to either walk or swim after work tonight. I'll see how I feel when I get off.

I slept in this morning and so only got about 20 minutes of swimming this afternoon in my dad's pool. Hoping to get a hike in again tomorrow morning with DH on the last day of the holiday weekend.

I'm glad you got to go hiking. DH & I went for an hour long walk (but only walked about 45 - 50 minutes because of catching Poke-creatures).

Yeah, I'm still going. I didn't get as much exercise in this week as I would have liked because I'm finding it really hard to get up and exercise before work but I'm on vacation until September 14 so I should have no problem getting exercise every day. Let's hope it sticks when I go back to work. Of course, exercising at 8 in the morning will always be easier than 5 in the morning. emoticon

Hiked for 70 minutes this morning w/DH. Beautiful 60 degree and sunny day out there. Best part about fall, IMO. I get to hike again.

Joanne, it sounds like you needed more cardio based workouts. Have fun incorporating the new dvds. If you find some dvds you don't like, you can always donate them to the library or a charity (or to a friend).
