Thanks for your votes. We will make the official weigh-in day Wednesdays for now and see how it goes. But, people who want to weigh in on Saturday or any other day for that matter can pick their own day of the week. Okay?
I like Wednesdays, too and if it's up to me to pick, that's the day that I would pick. That was and is my Weight Watchers weigh-in day.
As to wearing a pedometer all the time, you actually don't have to. I wear my pedometer all the time EXCEPT when I'm doing my exercise videos and for my videos, I use this website to calculate my steps:
So, for example, if I do kickboxing in the morning for half an hour, it is calculated by 30 x 242 (steps per minute) which equals 7260 steps and then I put my pedometer on after my exercise and wear it for the rest of the day and at the end of the day, I add the two numbers together and that's my total for the day!
It's especially good if your exercise is swimming or water aerobics or bicycling because you really couldn't wear a pedometer for those, right?
I personally say what ever is easiest for you. If we are not posting weekly it may be easier to pick one day every week. I vote wednesday :-0 not sure why but my best weigh ins are mid week. Or we could always do a monthly too, I do like the weekly ones, but I also keep track on my own. I am interested to see how this challenge will run, it will be hard for me to get in the habit of wearing a pedometer most of my exercises are videos in the winter I can't do a lot of out door walking in my area in the winter.

Since we're going to do a different kind of challenge in 2011 than we have in the last 3 years, do you want me to set a specific day of the week for our weigh-ins throughout the whole year or do you want to continue using whatever day of the week that the first of the month falls on, e.g. Saturdays in January, Tuesdays in February, Tuesdays in March, Fridays in April, etc.?
