Yeah, the seeds are dumb, but I like smoothies.
I used Alton Brown's recipe with unsweetened almond milk, v8 juice, and a bag of mixed berries.
4 oz unsweetened almond milk,
4 oz v8 fusion juice (I used the light version last time, but learned that it's pretty much watered down v8 juice, so there's no point)
4 oz banana,
8 oz berry mix,
4 oz peaches.
Makes for 3 8 oz drink for around 375 calories 96 carbs total. I also like to add a couple tablespoon of flax seed to it.
Granted that's a bit high carb count, but hey, if you're drinking smoothies to consume fruits, that's what fruit comes with. :)
