i think i'm going to go on a cottage cheese and banana breakfast for a while.. i like to shake it up.. the new cereal sounds yummy.. always good to have yummy cereal even for snacks.. better than a brownie..i've been on a chocolate kick lately almost every day.. that will make for SLOW weightloss..

i call it brekkie! maybe they are pronounced the same way? today i had a fiber bar. it's my morning staple during the week. on the weekends it's usually leftovers or a bowl of cereal. mom just bought some special k cinnamon pecan cereal over the weekend and it tastes yummy!

During the week I have either a whole wheat english muffin with natural peanut butter, or oatmeal with a pat of peanut butter in it. On weekends, I raise chickens, so its usually something with EGG, and lowfat cheese, wheat toast -- YUM! My son really loves the turkey sausage too.

I agree with the sentiments about breakfast being the best meal of the day!

what is that saying? eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and dinner like a peasant...

i love breakfast but all through my 20's forgot about it, i think it did a number on my metabolism...

tomorrow i think oatmeal i will try with apples, bananas and almonds

It is! I'll usually try different juice or fruit to switch it up a bit for a different flavor. I still prefer the good old breakfasts pancakes and eggs. Which I still make at least once a week for me and my son. And Oatmeal is another one of my favorites. I LOVE BREAKFAST!
