I read about Angie who needed to lose weight because she had arthitis in her knees. After losing 60 pounds, she was improving. I broke my ankle 3 years ago, and it does bother me. I suppose I have arthitis. I love to exercise as you may have noticed, so I know I will be able to do it better and longer without putting the extra weight on all my joints. That motivates me.

I read: Weight Loss Journals: Hands-On Inspiration. It was really interesting. A woman started a weight loss journal in scrapbook form and kept tack of many different things. What I found interetsing is that she didn't start it until she had been on SP for 8 months. She said it helps motivate her when she is ready to give up.She reads about why she started this journey.
I would say that my motivation is my daughter. However, recently it has become more about me. I am tired of being this weight and not losing anything. I need to do this for ME!
