I didn't think I could give up coffee, soda, smoking, or alcohol either but I did. It's often a lot harder in theory than in practice.

I'm going to go look for it. I found a Coconut Thai Chai that's pretty good. I don't know if I can go without my coffee though, I'm trying. The books I got doesn't really say yes or no on how much coffee I should drink in a day, ideas?

Decaf chai tea is available, too. I think the brand I see most is Tazo.

Most M.D.s don't have a problem with one of two 8 ounce cups a day.

I've brought my coffee level down to 2 cups a day, better than the pot I would drink a day. People would like me without the coffee, I wouldn't like me either. I'll switch over to decaf tea though. Ehhh, low carb is sooooo complicated!!

No caffeine on induction. It can cause unstable blood sugars according to Atkins. Decaffeinated tea or decaffeinated coffee is his recommendation.

I know I can have herb teas on induction, but what about chai tea? I know its a black tea and it has more caffeine but is it ok? I drink it just as a tea, no milk or anything. Thoughts??
