This is a Dana Carpender recipe. My family and I all really liked it. If you are watching fat you could substitute pork tenderloin.
Maple-Spice Country-Style Ribs
3 lbs country-style pork ribs
1/2 cup sugar free pancake syrup
3 T splenda
2 T soy sauce
1/4 c chopped onion
1/2 t ground cinnamon
1/2 t ground ginger
1/2 t ground allspice
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 t pepper
1/8 t cayenne
Put the ribs in the slow cooker. In a bowl mix together remaining mixture and pour over the ribs. Cover the slow cooker, set it to low, and let it cook for 9 hours.
6 servings, 382 calories, 29 g fat, 27 g protein, 2 gm carb, tr dietary fiber, 2 g usable carbs.
