My biggest eating issue is boredom. That time period between ending the activity of the day and going to bed. As soon as I stop my mind goes to eating sweets and high carbs. How did I ever get in that habit???

Today seems like a perfect day to begin emoticon February 15, 2015

I set my ticker to reflect the 10 pounds I want to lose ( had to keep the 1# that I already lost)

I would love to bring back this challenge....10 pounds would be a great kick-off with Spring just around the corner.

This could be a great way to drop those unwanted pounds gained over this long, cold winter emoticon

CHALLENGE:*TREAT* yourself to a 10 lb. loss
OK, I'm a week late, but I'm signing on anyway; I'll just have to boost this to 2 lbs./week. Perfect timing to go along with my plan to lose weight in a more disciplined fashion, and with added incentive of trip to Long Beach, CA, for library conference Nov. 2-5th.! Sorry I was not in on the start, but I did lose a smidgeon last week.


Ends: Thursday, Nov. 1st

My Starting Weight at 9/16/12: 225.6 lbs.

well - Sunday was officially 170.4 even though my signature line shows Friday's Biggest Loser weigh-in at 169.8 :( - I think that was all the energy boosts along the bike tour yesterday and the Veggie Quesedilla after the ride. Lots of veggies and lots more cheese. Oh well, I'm learning. :)

SO - for simplicity (because of my sig line) and an even greater challenge (for me) I will claim my starting at the 169.8 - I'll just have to work harder - right?

My official start weight will be 163.7 since I will not have access to a scale tomorrow!
Goal weight: 153.7
I like the sound of that!
I have been having the hardest time getting into the 150s. I saw them briefly a month ago, but have been hovering around 163 ever since. I am training for a marathon and have not been able to figure this whole thing out!

CHALLENGE: *TREAT* yourself to a 10 lb. loss emoticon
Starts: Sunday, Sept. 16th
Ends: Thursday, Nov. 1st

We have 6 1/2 weeks starting Sunday, Sept. 16th thru Oct. 31st to lose 10 lbs.; that's approx. 1.5 lbs. per week.

I'm not going to specify any "have too" exercises. Let's just encourage one another to stay moving and eat healthy.

I'm motivated!!!
