I know I am 7 days late, but really my goal is to journal everythingi put in my mouth and check the boards to keep me motivated. Logging in everyday is key and I am starting now! I am one of those people that believe every minute we have is a chance to start over!!

Ok guys - I get it - no one wants challenges........................ whew ! you guys are tough. Any other suggestions for motivating each other to get to our fitness goals?

I believe weight loss is more about how much you eat - and exercise is more about toning.

Well here we are already in May --------------- finally some warmer
weather and beautiful flowers .
Lets think about a change for may;
If you took one pound of fat and put it in front of you it would equal
a grapefruit in size. If you take a pound of muscle and put it in front of you it would equal an orange in size.
Looking at both you’ll find that they are both the same weight but one
pound of fat is bigger and takes up a lot more room. If you lose 10 grapefruits
off your body , and gain ten oranges, and they both individually weigh one
pound, you would be the same weight but a lot smaller afterward. Because of this
size difference you may see your clothes get bigger on you, your inches go
down, and people telling you that it looks like you lost weight. However, if you
get on the scale you may stay the same weight and appear to be a lot smaller. This
happens when you do a regular exercise program because you always
initially build muscle. Usually 2-4 pounds for a woman, and 5-10 pounds for a
man.
So with this in mind = this month we are going to focus our challenge on losing a few grapefruits and when we gain a few oranges iin its place we will still be trimmer................. this month - the scale is not going to rule.


Lets just keep it very simple for may -------------- here
