So we both hit the big five-oh. Feels good, doesn't it? For updates, I spent a couple of hours this AM transferring my weight and measurements from my computer to My Sparks (please don't tell me now one can upload it). I'll be listing exercise and future W&M there so if anyone thinks it might be useful, can this be shared? One thing I noticed right off from the charts was, as expected, my biggest "danger zone" was from Halloween to New Years. That was a pretty hard six weeks post Jan. 1 in 2011.
I really love the recipes too. They are secretly helping my family be healthy which works for me. I'm glad you have specific goals set with you BMI, It's truly inspiring that even after an extended absence from the message boards that you've kept with the "healthy lifestyle"
I'm still working on losing the last 30 pounds from an original goal of 80. I had to reset and kind of start fresh again. I exercise and eat right so it's really just a work in progress, aren't we all Maybe you could give us an update more often? It was great to hear from you & good luck for your future journey. WE CAN DO THIS!
Hi- I now wish I had logged on to help my SP Class with our stats. From Nov '09 it took about a year to lose 50 and go from a BMI of 31.5 to my old playing weight of 192 (albeit without the extreme conditioning) and a BMI of 24.6. I stopped workouts for the past year and haven't put any back on (lots of Spark recipe meals- thanks!) so the lifestyle changes took hold. With the weather turning, it's time to take the conditioning step. My goal is a BMI of 23 by spring.
I hope everyone is doing well. I know with the colder months pending in the near future there is going to be more "activity" online, than in the "real" world, so I figured there is no better time to "recommit"....
I have deleted the goals that were set cause they were undefined and no results recorded, but to the 32 that were tracking I apologize to you and commend you on your efforts. Please consider rejoining future goals, with that said I would like to ask you all what you would think about a goal of trying to "increase water intake" & "reinforced healthy habits".... I know real general right? lol . . . That's why I like them
