TrailsFest 2009: Get Outside and Play!
If you love the great outdoors, youll love TrailsFest! TrailsFest takes place at Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area in North Bend on Saturday, July 18. Stop by anytime from 10 am 4 pm! It's free!
This outdoor recreation festival features clinics on everything from wilderness first aid to hiking with kids to backcountry cooking. Take a guided hike, tie a fly on, look for birds, paddle a kayak or climb a rock wall. Visit dozens of exhibitors, including gear companies and environmental groups. Its all at TrailsFest!
Looking for new places to explore in the Central Cascades? Attend a presentation by Craig Romano, author of Day Hiking Central Cascades, featuring the best hikes in the Entiat and more. Need a new recipe for dinner at camp? The author of Freezer Bag Cooking will teach you how to make gourmet backcountry meals on a budget. Have a dog?
