I am captain of a team for the Thurston County Relay.
It's a wonderful event...like a 24-hour tailgate party. The luminary walk (1st night, after sunset, with bags lit up in honor and memory of those who have lost the battle) is very, very touching.

When is the Puyallup event?
My mom did one in Everett last year. They signed up as a team and it took place for two days of walking in shifts. I'll see what else I can find out. I think I may be doing the Marysville one in June with my 3-Day team...

Expect nothing and appreciate everything. It takes 3 D's to accomplish anything in life. Determination, Dedication and Desire!
Has anyone ever done this? How long have you guys walked in this? I am doing the Puyallup Relay for Life for my wife's coworker who has Ovarian cancer.
