This looks like a lot of fun, but seeing how I'm just now getting back to exercise after the baby, I better wait for a walk later in the year. Don't need to overdo it now and burn out.

I'm going to talk to my husband about this one for sure! We camp up at Birch Bay a lot so that might be an option for me! Of course all this silly snow will have to melt to use the trailer. hehe

Hey ladies, looks like what I have used in the past was discontinued.

BUT...I spoke to my friend who races in the Iditarod said to use Musher's Secret. He uses it all year round and his dogs run on rocks. Would be the one to know what works, eh.

So here is the link.

This does look like fun. I'll probably be recovered from the Big Climb by April 4th.

I would definitely want to bring my Soph-a-Roni, but we'd definitely have to make it an overnighter somewhere.

I'll be watching for the sticky-pad link!

That's GREAT news Maya! Can't wait to learn more! Brutus has been on several 10-15 mile hikes, but there wasn't any pavement and very little rock involved.

Yes I will be bringing Winston. He has done lots of 10 mile walks over his life. They make these special sticky covers for the protection of pads. I'll post the website. I have to go find it :)

Woohoo! Are you going to bring Winston? I can't decide if I want or should bring Brutus. I'm thinking probably not as 9 miles is a bit much for his pads if we are on pavement the whole way...

It is on my calendar and I will register as soon as I get paid. That is the Saturday before Spring Break, what a great way to start the vacation.

I would love to join you but my hubby leaves on April 5th so I am sure I will be busy!
