Sr Mary I didn't email him but I left a message on Facebook.
If you put facebook in the search engine you can open an account by putting in your email address and a password and once you have opened it you can then put Pope Benedict in the facebook search engine and you will find him. You can also become a fan of his and then you can add comments to his page.

I would like us all to join together to pray for His Holiness the Pope. He is having a tough time and he needs our prayers. I checked him out on facebook and some of the comments are just too awful to repeat. Please check it out and those of you who respect him as the leader of our Church, please leave a comment on his page giving him your love and support. I became a fan of his as well.
