I starred this back a few years ago and I decided to bring it back and update where I have been walking since I wrote this post ___ years ago.
Today God brought me gifts of understanding, clarity, wisdom, peace. He calm my soul and eased my heartbreak. God explained it to me to were my pain was transformed to inner comfort and peace. Hallelujah!!!!! I am so thankful. So grateful for His mercy. Thank you precious Father. Thank you.
God bless all who read this post. Amen.
“Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth.”
My walk with GOD has taken me to the point of being
dependent on HIM. HE has helped me through a lot of
tough times in my life. HE helped me deal with the suicide of my beloved father years ago. HE helped me forgive my mother years ago for child abuse (although
that term was not used yet). HE has helped me deal with a lot of different struggles in recent years.
HE has recently healed me of Merkel Cancer. HE is now helping me deal with the Radiation Treatments. HE
always takes the bad and turns it into the good. My walk is growing stronger and stronger in HIM. However, I am still human and I fall many, many, many times but HE always picks me up!
My journey has always been on of many ups and downs...but always I have known God was there and He would pull me through. A year ago I really fell in love with Jesus all over again and surrendered to Him fresh and anew. Until recently, I felt like I was growing and learning...alas apparently I am far from where I need to be or being the person He intended me to be. But I will get there with His help...
Running away is never the answer, but in running I often find my answer!
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Thanks for the post!!! That's a picker-upper for me.
God Bless!!! Hope everyone is having a great day!!!!

"The beauty of the Gospel message is not that we shall not suffer, but rather that regardless of the level and intensity of our suffering, God is always there by our side, and will always give us the strength to stand and not fail. In fact I would go as far as to say that the most effective witness to the lost, is the life of a suffering Christian, that overflows with joy, peace and love, rather than bitterness and self-pity.
thanks for that post..I have a hard time surrendering to God...I dont always put Him first in my life and that really needs to change..thanks again
I love connecting with people who enjoy fitness!!!
For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.

In January I started to surrender to God. It has been hard. I plan to keep trying to do my best for the rest of my life. I need people to pray for me, so I do better.
I found this on the internet. This is what I am trying to do. The author is unknown
When you are neglected or forgotten and you don't sting or hurt with over sight, but your heart is happy to be counted worthy to suffer, that is surrendering to God.
When your good is not spoken of,when your wishes are crossed, and you refuse to let anger rise in your heart or even defend yourself, but take it all in patient loving silence, that is surrendering to God.
When you lovingly and patiently bear any disorder, any annoyance, irregularly. When you stand face to face with waste, folly, extravagance, spiritual insensibility, and endure it as Jesus did, than you are surrendering to God.
When you are content with any food, any society. any solitude, any interruption, by the will of God, then you are surrendering to God.
When you can see your bother prosper and have his needs met, and honestly rejoice in spirit, and feel no envy, nor question God while your own needs are far greater and you are in desperate circumstances, you are surrendering to God.
When you receive correction and respect someone of less stature than yourself, and humbly silent both inwardly and outwardly, finding no rebellion or resentment rising up within your heart you are surrendering to God.

My walk with God has had many detours but it has led me to be the person I am today. I thank Him several times a day for the blessings he has given me. The heartaches I have suffered in my life, and I often questioned Him about them, have actually made me stronger.

Have you just stated on your walk? Has it been taking you to new destinations? Or has your walk had several detours? Every person's journey is different, and they all reach a destination in the end.
WHERE HAS YOUR WALK WITH God taken you
