Lizz, actually you can't switch on a daily basic, a weekly basis maybe. There are so many differences and variables between the two points, not to mention the extra weekly points, that changing back and for on a daily basic probably won't work as well as sticking with one plane. I like the new pp plan. Have fruits as a free food is great and also I feel more satisfied on pp than on the old points plan.
New low reached 149.2 lbs on 5/6/11. Made my weight watcher goal on Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
New walk record 9/9/11, 4 miles in 58 minutes.
I am still using the points system from 10 years ago. It worked for me then so I just stick with it.

I agree with everyone. I would also suggest you go to a couple of classes and get the new program and get started with that.

Combining points and points plus doesn't work. There are too many differences in points values of food.
The road to success always has detours.
I know every single excuse not to eat right or exercise regularly - except for a good one.
I would not switch regularly between the 2 programs(points plus & points), I would decide which one works for you and stick with that. You can switch between PP & core on a daily basis though.
I would go back to getting started if you go to meetings. Sometimes you need a refresher course to get back on track.
I'm curious to know whether anyone has successfully switched between "ordinary" points days and points plus days and how that might be working for you. I haven't lost anything on WW in nearly two years now, although I lost 37 lbs to begin with (and that took 1.5 years!!!!) I don't know whether my body just doesn't want to lose or what. I work out, walk, etc. I do need to drink more water.
Anyway, any ideas??
