I cannot believe it, I am down 4.2 pounds from last week.
Yaaay! That makes just over 10 pounds in 11 weeks. I had a couple of weeks at nothing and 1 week with a small gain.
I think I am figuring out what works for me.

Ok, now I weighed in for this week today because our center will be closed on Maunday thursday. I was up .2. I think I was mindlessly drinking water at work forgetting about my weigh in. I had a good weekend within points and good exercise time so still feel good about it. I leave this Friday for my brother's for Easter so that will be a challenge.

Was down .8 at weigh in this week and I'm more than happy since I ended the week negative in points due to some poor food choices a few days and fighting late night snacking.

New week now though and I want to end it OP and not negative again (except for the scale I want that to be negative :)

JUSTCHEELE75: You're right, if I was that consistent I could loose more. I use all my 49 weekly points and use some of my daily and weekly on junk. Even though I stay within my points, I'm consuming a lot of carbs and my body always blows up with carbs. I have to find a way to have the self discipline that you and others have.

ANUME- I am very consistent with what I eat. I have only ever used 9 weekly points. I also make sure I get 3 days worth of exercise. That is my biggest struggle. Also try not to eat junk points or very few of them.

When I choose something to eat I ask myself why I am making that choice.

You can do this.

Oh and I have a lot more weight to lose than you emoticon

Hi! I lost 3 lbs this week....I am giving the credit to the old (1989) version of WW. It's the "Quick Success" program that uses 'exchanges'. I've found that it's the WW program that works best for me.

I have been steadily losing 1.2-1.5 pounds per week on PP+, BUT using only 18-25 Points. This week's average was 19.7 Points. Of course I would gain eating 29 Points!! WW is going to end up with egg on their face (pun intended) if they don't come around soon to the notion that one-point-size doesn't fit all.

I haven't tracked my calories, but I'm sure I'm eating correctly because I have not been losing more than 2 pounds (except initially) in any one week. I strictly weigh and measure, especially carbs. If I have oatmeal, let's say, in the morning, I will have only one other carb the rest of the day, maybe a 1/2 cup of brown rice at lunch.

I count apples as 1 point and bananas as 2 points; all other fruits and veggies are pretty much 0 points for me, so that if I have a hungry day, I will have a HUGE salad with 2 tsp of olive oil and lemon juice or a veggie soup made with veggie broth or turkey broth. I sometimes need to see a lot of food on my plate.

I found a xerox copy of one of the old WW programs called 1-2-3 Success. It suggests that if your current weight is less than 150, daily points should range between 18-25; if 150-174, points should be 20-27; 175-199, points should be 22-29(!!!!); 200-250, 26-33; over 250, 28-35.
WW has acknowledged in the past that individual points may vary. Why have they abandoned that notion? It's baffling.

When you arise in the morning,

Give thanks for your food and the joy of living.

If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies in yourself.

I weighed in today at WW and gained a pound. I knew it. The PP does not work for me. My leader said it is the same food, just different accounting. I hate math. I am quitting PP because in the 2 months I have been on it I gained 4 pounds. I am disabled and have less muscle mass. With Momentum I can gauge my calories more stricktly via points I was able to lose 18 pounds in a year. Gained back 4 in two months. Not right direction. I will NOT give up.

Hi guys! I'm new to the team and WW points plus. Today starts wk 3 for me and I hope it is better than wk 2 where I gained .4lbs:( The leader said that it is probably water retention from the increase in w/o's and my body adjusting to it... I sure hope so!! Anyway, I will have a better report next week hopefully!

I weighed in on Monday night. I lost 1 lb! I was happy with that because we ate out all weekend because we weren't home. I was also in the car for 3 hours driving home before the meeting and that always causes me to retain fluid.

I was down .2 this week and I even went to Panda Express on one night and had lobsters with butter on another, so I was happy.

New low reached 149.2 lbs on 5/6/11. Made my weight watcher goal on Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
New walk record 9/9/11, 4 miles in 58 minutes.

I started WW online December 15th - thus far I've lost a bit over 8 lbs. and about 4 inches. A couple of those inches actually coming off from where I want 'em to! I like a weekly weigh in, helps to stay accountable I think. This week I lost 1.8. I never thought I'd be so happy to lose slowly - but I'm eating within the guidelines (for the most part - still learning) and I'm never hungry and will have a beer or drink when I want it - so I'm happy!!!

i started back on WW in the beginning of december, but then a few personal things happened and the holidays...so i decided to really commit to the new plan on jan 1. just went in for my second weigh in of 2011 and i'm down 5 pounds! i can already tell that i'm making smarter choices. i currently have a problem with my heel so i can't do any cardio for a while, but i'm going to try and do some strength training. i'm really hoping for a 10 pound weight loss this month!

Gained 3 pounds over the holiday. I am up to 160.4. Can I lose that by weigh in on Thursday??? I am sure going to try.
