Sounds like things are going better for the girls -- and with each new day, I hope things just keep getting better and better and the best!

I need to count to something -- and, I don't think 10 is going to do it -- but deep breathing exercises sure do help and I've been doing alot of it this week again.

Sounds emoticon hun! I'm so happy to hear it! Today, I think I have to count to 10 a few times. I was in the ER last night again and now it's back to work today -- I think maybe, I'll count up to at least 50 and hope it helps.

emoticon Carla! I'm sorry for the tears--but we do tend to think ahead when it comes to our children and their feelings-so I got ya there completely. I do alot of that--and it does cause the stress. We want to "fix" and there are so many times we just can't. But we can surely try and you've done your part, hun. Maybe in the days ahead, they'll come to terms with each other and put the past upset behind them--and realize they're both blessed to have each other and a super loving Mom as well!

yeah..............been doing a lot of the tears lately. neither child will accept the other and neither will give in and/or apologize..............so the youngest is graduating from HS tonight and leaving for the Marines within 2months and won't "allow" the oldest to attend the ceremony...... major stress and I can only think about how they might feel in 10....20....30 years...............

gonna take more than that for awhile........................
major issues happening around here and really needs prayers more than deep breathing........
losing one, possibly both of my children because the oldest one (mother of our grandson) is an idiot and doesn't appreciate her family and chooses to believe an acquaintance over her sister when her sister tells her the same (male) acquaintance ATTACKED her!!!!!!

Angela! I told you so! Isn't it great?!?!?! My kids don't believe me.......I mean you really have to remember to only think "in" and "out" and it does take some practice. The key was not necessarily to stop your mind from wandering but to always bring it back asap to "in" and "out"............it really works.............

as a child of transcendental meditation, this is how I was raised......
I can still lower my heartrate to calm within 20 seconds at any time.......
it really works people and here's another newsflash!
can't get to sleep at night cuz your mind is RACING!............ I'll try to explain this, but it loses something in writing..............

get comfy, clear your mind, breathe in and think "in" for a count of about 3-4, breathe out and think "out" for the same.....doesn't matter nose or mouth.....what matters is your brain concentrating on "in" and "out" and it takes your mind off whatever was racing thru......try it, seriously!

Deep cleansing breathing exercises can help us release the stress and calm us down at times by concentrating on our breathing more than what is stressing us at the time.

So, ready to count to 10?

1-deep breath in, hold and exhale; 2-deep breath in, hold and exhale and count up to 10 with those great breathing exercises. You can post however you'd like. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 is an example. Just keep those cleansing and stress releasing inhales/exhales coming and I hope they help you feel better afterwards and any time you feel stressed.
