I'm going to try to stay home today, or at least until my hubby comes home. So, I'm multi-tasking of sorts. The dishes are soaking in the sink right now, soon, I'll put another load in the washer, and eventually I'll get a few things done and feel like I got something accomplished and back on track again with things around the house--and then to plan what's for dinner and get the prep work done before it's time to set the table!

To start, I took a really great walk. Then I will work on some type of vision or motivation board to hang up at home. Later, chop up some fresh melon and strawberry I picked up at the market for a snack and tonight, chill in soothing bath with a healthy beverage.

I feel so far behind with my housework, etc., so today, the washing machine is going, the dishes are in the sink ready to be washed and it's going to be a multi-tasking day all the way around. I'm trying to focus and not get too uptight after finding out that I'm not able to get a part-time job at an area pizza place because of my age! They say there are no openings now, but yet they're still advertising for help! So, I'm trying to tell myself that this just wasn't the job for me.

Today I'm putting my "to dos" and projects in a container, so I only have to look at one container, in one spot, so I don't feel overwhelmed by what I want to get done today by seeing the various things around the house! I'll grab my container and tackle one thing at a time!

I have found a new trick to controlling my anxiety and also I say it if I'm running low on patience. I repeat the serenity prayer. Sometimes only in my head and sometimes out loud if I really need to hear it. Seems to be working. Going to keep trying.

I may check out a few cookbooks and try to make something new that I've never tried before! Hope I have all the ingredients already as it's way tooooooo cold to have to go out in this weather today! Gotta get busy in the kitchen and keep my mind off things that tend to bring on the stress!
