You may have seen this on the main page of Sparks today, but if you like yoga, check out this blog by clicking on the link below and enter the contest to have yoga in your home for a year! Good luck everybody!
Sounds great! I'm not into the advanced or power yoga either - I just like to do the breathing, slow stretches and that type of movement -- and I'd love to find a class again -- but you're right, in our area also, the classes are held during the days at our fitness center, but I'll have to check around and see if I can find one that offers them in the evening. I loved it back then -- and I know I'd love to get into it again!
I used to go to a yoga class a couple years ago myself. I agree that it is relaxing and a great way to stay flexible as well as increase balance. I changed gyms and the one I go to now offers beginning yoga on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Not friendly times for those who work. The only yoga they offer on the weekend is the advanced or power yoga which I'm not sure I'm ready to jump into after no yoga for 2 years. But I'm going to go to one and see if I can make my own modifications to keep it within my physical abilities.
