As I know from experience, if I let my anxiety get ahead of me, it *stays* ahead. When I have a plan of action, I can breathe through my palpitations (and any other symptoms!) and step forward in my day to day life more easily.
Today is the 7th day of a challenge for me. The specific challenge isn't as important as the breath of relief I'm able to take today because I've been able to have seven successful days.
I have to make some other plans for the week ahead. As I started thinking about making those plans, I decided to share the opportunity here. If there's something YOU are needing to work on, and needing, perhaps, a place to let another person know about it, here's a space! You can give some details, lots of details, no details...whatever feels best to you. Take time to follow up with your post later, to help yourself see progress, or to tweak the plans and goals!
Journaling can be a really effective way of alleviating anxiety before it gets going. It takes practice though. This team is a space where we can practice with each other. I look forward to reading what you share.

It is not our purpose to become each other; it is to recognize each other, to learn to see the other and honor him for what he is.
