As I know from experience, if I let my anxiety get ahead of me, it *stays* ahead. When I have a plan of action, I can breathe through my palpitations (and any other symptoms!) and step forward in my day to day life more easily.
Today is the 7th day of a challenge for me. The specific challenge isn't as important as the breath of relief I'm able to take today because I've been able to have seven successful days.
I have to make some other plans for the week ahead. As I started thinking about making those plans, I decided to share the opportunity here. If there's something YOU are needing to work on, and needing, perhaps, a place to let another person know about it, here's a space! Journaling can be a really effective way of alleviating anxiety before it gets going. It takes practice though. This team is a space where we can practice with each other. I look forward to reading what you share.
