You know I started thinking that as well. I try to do without it at all but sometimes I will have a diet coke and I will start to feel the anxiety creep up on me. I think I am just going to totally cut it out of my diet all together.
They bother me too, aspartame=migraines, sorbitol=IBS

I can't handle artificial sweetners either. I just do plain bottled water. The water where I live has a high sodium content and taste very salty. It's amazing what you learn to like when you have to.
Each step taken is a calorie lest behind!

Has anyone ever had a bad reaction to Artificial Sweetners with their anxiety?
I was drinking a gallon of Crystal Light a day trying to get in a certain amount of water. I did this for about a week and started having Panic Attacks. I have stopped now. A girl online told me that Red Dye #40 has been linked to panic attacks. I looked into it and found more info on Aspertame (sp?) being linked to people having panic attacks. I was wondering if I'm the only person here that this has happened to.
I'm cutting out all artificial sweetners. It'll make it harder to diet but that was really scary. NOw I'm wondering how long it's going to take to get this junk out of my system. It's better in the last two days since I cut it out but the anxiety is still at like level 9.
