I think that is the classic start page. Under quick track is MY SPARK STREAKS then MY GOALS that is where you will see a place to change your goals.

Go from (x) to (x) by (date) change
Click change and put in your new numbers
You may also be able to do the change by editing your Spark Page.

There are two start pages. The information you have seems to be for the classic version. I also checked the new version and if you scroll down on the left side to Weight Progress and click the underlined change it should take you where you want to go. This is located in the trackers field. Hope this helps.

I am causing my self great anxiety at the moment.

I want to chance my goal wight but can not figure out how. This is what it tells me to do
* How do I change my weight goal?

1. Go to your Start page.
2. Scroll to the "my Goals & Progress" section (on the left side of the page).
3. Click the "change" link next to your weight goal.
4. Under "Set Your Weight Goal," change the number in the "Target Weight" box.
5. Click "Save Your Changes" at the bottom of the page.

I have been to my start page and I scroll up and down and see nothing about "My goals & progress" what am I missing????????

I have learned that when I become overwhelmed that I have to step back and take some me time to enjoy the things that make me calm. I enjoy reading or playing some music that I enjoy. Deep breathing is a great relaxation tool. I hope that these ideas may help.

I am struggling today with overwhelming anxiety. I know my stress level is up and I have so much running through my head I just can't get it to stop. Any Ideas?

Hello friends. I found on a web site, a book called Panic Away. I was able to download the book off the internet. Its not cheap or free, but I love it. Its teaching you how to call your anxiety on. How to deal with GAD and panic attacks and how to take it to the ONE MOVE technique that could stop anxiety in its tracks. check it out

Hello friends! I met my new therapist. She is great. I am sooo happy that I will be able to learn the techniques to get myself better. She said that my fear of dying or that something is wrong is OCD as well. That doesnt surprise me since they have now linked strep throat to ocd, something called the panda ? I am not sure. I grew up with strep but pretty much its in my gene's ( the ocd) . I meet with her again the 9th of feb. Its great to have the support here, and things that I learn I will definently share. Have a good night. Hugs

Agree, Carol! ONEHOTTIE, please bring that up to your new therapist tomorrow and see where the subject takes you. Definitely sounds like it could be a major cause and, as Carol said, boundaries are in order. Let us know how the new therapist goes - hugs to you, hun!

ONEHOTTIE,
If you believe you will get better that's half the battle. I'm willing to bet your "mom" situation is part of it and boundaries are necessary. Good luck! emoticon

Hi friends. I meet with my new therapist tomorrow. I am sooo excited. As for the knee surgery, I dont know why i was scared for the surgery. I had brain surgery in May 2007. I lived and made it! I know that I really need to set boundries especially around my mom. I really dont want to get into that. Just for a short amount of info is that when I was young my mom wanted to kill herself so I was left at home with my mom and my siblings me being the oldest to make sure that my mom didnt hurt herself while dad went to work. Could i still be dealing with that responsibility?

Take things one day at a time and maybe the Zoloft will help you in the days to come -- it takes time for it to get into your system -- but can your thoughts have something to do with your knee surgery and your possible fears or thoughts beforehand? I wish you the best and let us know how you're doing! We care, my friend, and emoticon to you!

PLEASE talk to your doctor. You are definitely being affected by this tragedy, and all you can think about is your fear of the same thing happening to your family. I am 59, suffered from anxiety since being a teen (before anyone really knew how to treat it), basically living with it until my mother died. I then lost control of my anxiety and couldn't function. Medication and counseling helped me retrain my brain over a period of time after I discovered my fear of death. My counselor called it situational anxiety, and had no doubt it could be overcome.

On December 3rd of 2009 my husbands family suffered the loss of two children, our niece and nephew. Since losing these children I find myself over anxious and panicky about EVERYTHING... especially my 2 children (ages 3 and 5 months)...
I am overwhelmed with worry and I am not quite sure how to overcome these feelings.
A friend of mine had suggested that I may be suffering from PTSD but I am not sure because the tragedy wasn't something that happened directly to me... I am thinking about talking to my doctor about this, but I am not sure how to go about it...
Have you ever suffered a loss or something that left you with an overwhelming amount of anxiety, fear or worry...
