Hi Piper and everyone,
I have this book. I SWEAR by it! It's amazing. When my anxiety first kicked in in '06 I was paralyzed. I didn;t know what was happening to me, I felt like I was going to die, I stopped talking to people and I didn't leave the house. My dad's sudden death was the trigger for my anxiety. I went to a very esteemed Boston psychotherapist who told me was hardwired for anxiety and that I'd suffer for the rest of my life. She neglected to tell me how much grief impacted my mental state. I found this book online, ordered it, then slowly worked through the entire thing. It took months. Maybe even the entire mourning year, I don't remember. The book teaches you how to take control of your situation and anchor yourself. Topics like diet, exercise, supplements, lifestyle changes, and so on are covered and at the end of each chapter there's a list of resources so if you find a topic that really resonates with you, youcan pursue it further. The book gave me the tools to et my anxiety under control and when my last bout reared it's terrifyingly ugly head, I went immediately back to it for a refresher.

So this is a bit of an old thread, but I have this book at home and am slowly working through it. Would love to know if anyone else has used it or is using it.

I've heard about this book. I'd be interested as well in knowing if it's helped anyone.

Now, this books is a huge and extensive workbook and covers all kinds of areas. I browsed thru it and I had ordered it way back in March but was so sick for so long that I didn't care about anything for the last six months.
Now, I am feeling just so "hopeful and excited" about healing and was wondering if any of you have worked thru this book and maybe, would like to take the adventure with me again. I figure right now, maybe a chapter a week, we can discuss it at length about what affects us, positive and negative and hopefully we can overcome the negatives in our lives.
This workbook deals with just about everything---I didn't see anything that was missing as I perused the pages quickly.
Looking forward to possibly hearing from someone on this team that may be interested in the healing process with me.
I am "stoked" about this venture in my life, finally.
Hoping to have some feedback and if I don't, I will try to post here on this thread where this "journey" is taking me.
Have a wonderful day.
Peace and blessings,

Happy Sparkling,
