OMG. I'm always 2.2. I started SP two weeks ago, and this morning my INR was 1.1. For me this is a heparin shot, a PE, hospitalization, or all of the above. This is the INR level my daughter had this summer when she was admitted with a PE. I'm freaking out a little.
My clinic has doubled my dose for tonight and asked that I contact them first thing in the morning to take some action. Thank god I have a filter. I'm really not happy with this result.

My INR was 2.3 last time it was done. My doctor wants to go a month between testing, but I know I am eating healthier now, so will try to get one done in 2 weeks, when I get my potassium checked.....that dropped low, so that needs testing again too. To make it worse, I work in the lab so I get to draw blood for all the other patient's and run those tests....now I am on the other side of the needle....no fun!

INR's are 2.3 this week. Just came off antibiotics that messed with the numbers, but back on track. Will have to be tested every week for a couple of weeks because of the massive amount of vegetables that we consume every day. 9 mg of warfarin a day to keep steady numbers.
Since ramping up my activity and downing a pitcher of water every day, my INR has tanked to 1.4. My lifetime maintenance INR is 2.0. I've been doing this roller coaster for 2.5 years now, so...back to retest in a week!
I was also very bad with being consistent with my greens for the first year on coumadin, but now I write on my calendar every other day to eat green food and my INR has been within range for 6 mnths straight now.
Nothing tells on us quicker than that INR test. I am bummed. Here we going changing doses again. Have to readjust mg because I wasn't consistent with my green foods. Consistency in anything has been a life long issue for me. I am good for awhile and then start falling away. INR's don't let me do that.
That is good. I completely forgot to post my results. LOL Mine is right at 3.0 and that is perfect for me. I have struggled to keep mine in a good range for almost 2 years now, so maybe I'm on the right dosage and eating better now. We shall see next week.
