Hi!!

I have been SO bad! I haven't really gained any weight- but I haven't lost any either. I have been celebrating my wedding anniversary for a week now it seems, and tomorrow we are going on a 3 night celebration vacation to the beach. Ha! Anyway, I hope to get back on the 2 lbs a week when we get home, because I don't want to stress on our relaxing vacation about food. I do plan on running every morning while we are there... but not sure if it will actually happen.

Good luck this week... congrats on your 3 lbs!!!!

How did last week go for you? Did you resist the temptations?

I decided to weigh in instead of waiting for the end of the month. I lost 3 pounds which is about a pound a week so I'm behind on the 2 pound a week goal but I am losing. I also started reading The Beck Diet Solution and am liking the points that she is making.

Way to go on your weight loss!!! That is awesome!

I only weigh myself once a month so I won't know how I'm doing until the end of May.

I did great with getting in my workouts last week but I struggled with having time to track how I was doing with food. I didn't eat awful but when I don't track my food I tend to go over by a little and even a little can impact weight loss. The remainder of this week I need to focus on my nutrition. The 80/20 rule really hits my weight loss. I have to get the 80% nutrition under control because the 20% fitness is already in place. I also need to make time to track everything so that I actually know how I'm doing and aren't guessing.

Have a great week! You can resist the temptations!

Great job on your workouts and food!

I am down another 2lbs! I am really motivated now because I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I have 6 more pounds to lose before I get my body fat % professionally tested. 2 more pounds until my small goal achieved bottle of red wine :)

How did the rest of your week go? Did you drop any weight? Hope you are doing well!

This week will be a challenge for me: I have Teacher's Day, my wedding anniversary, and a birthday party! I hope I can resist temptation!!

I'm glad to hear that it isn't too low. It always scares me when things tell you that you can't exercise while on them!

I'm on a roll when it comes to my workouts. I've already hit 2,750 calories burned this week and still have two more days of exercise (I use my Garmin heartrate monitor for most of my cardio to make sure that I'm getting an accurate calorie burn). I have to admit that I haven't had time to track my food but I feel good about my eating. I'm not ending the day super full or sluggish because I've eaten bad so hopefully my feeling meshes with what the tracker would say if I did enter all my food.

Hope you are having a great week!

Great job on doing better! I know it seems my calories are low, but I also only burn about 1800 calories if I nothing all day considering my weight/height. So on days I work out I am between 2100-2300 calories burned. So to have a negative 1000 calories, I can only consume 1100-1300 calories. Crazy I know, but I have been learning about this with my journey and I feel energized and healthy now!

Hope the rest of your week goes well!!

Things are definitely going better this week! I've been on track for the goals that I listed before and feel good. I was above on my calories yesterday but I find that there are days that I need more calories because of the strong exercising that I'm doing as I train for the 1 mile swim in June and the triathlon in November so for me it is more important that I focus on making the extra calories be good for me calories in the form of veggies and fruits.

Awesome job on your weight loss! It is always wonderful when you see the scale move!

Be careful with dropping your calorie intake too low. You don't want to shoot your metabolism so make sure that you are eating enough. I'm always wary of things that won't allow you to exercise while you do them. Just make sure you are being safe!

Hey!

I am sorry you are struggling. I struggle sometimes saying "no" to people offering me unhealthy things and recently I have been really good. Even if they look at me funny... I just say, "Thanks, but I am not hungry." Most of the time I am NOT hungry, but is does look good!

I am doing well! I lost 2 lbs this week! I am at 123.6lbs now. When I started this journey I didn't think I would ever get here. I have 4 more pounds to go before my next bottle of wine :)

This week my goals are similar to last week:

Monday: Turbofire’s Hiit 15, and P90X Chest and Back
Tuesday: Turbofire’s FIRE 45, P90X Ab Ripper X
Wednesday: Turbofire’s Hiit 15, P90X Shoulders and Arms
Thursday: Turbofire’s FIRE 45EZ, P90X Ab Ripper X
Friday: Turbofire’s Hiit 15, P90X Legs and Back
Saturday: Turbofire’s FIRE 60, stretch
Sunday: P90X Core, and Turbofire’s Stretch 40

This may change because my family is shipping me shakeology from the states and when it gets here I am going to do a 3 day cleanse. During the cleanse I can't do strenuous exercise. I will let you know if anything changes. This past week I completed ALL workouts, and stuck to eating well. I hope to lose another 2lbs this week.

Talk to you soon! Let me know if you need any suggestions about anything :)

I'm struggling! I've got to make a serious commitment to this challenge if it is going to work. TOM set everything off schedule. I have endometriosis so my periods are usually horrendous but I have been able to workout before and make healthy choices. I just have to make the conscious choice that both working out and eating right will help me feel better. I did still track so that I could mentally see just how far off I was. I reset myself last night when I was over at a friend's house for a Cinco de Mayo dinner and only had one taco and one piece of pie. I even threw away the leftover pie when we got home because I knew that, although I didn't like the taste of the pie, I wouldn't have control over it.

This morning I'm back up at 5 to rest my morning clock. I've sent something to my friend about doing our swimming workout this morning to make up for the one we missed earlier in the week. Even if she doesn't reply, I'm going to go and get it in. I've got my food plan on the fridge to follow.

I'm setting a weekly goal this week of getting 3 things done:
1. Get up every morning at 5 to resume the schedule that got off when I wanted to sleep in because of TOM.
2. Get in each scheduled workout for the week: Monday - strength, walk, bike/swim; Tuesday - swim in morning and evening; Wednesday - strength, walk, bike/swim; Thursday - swim, jog; Friday - strength, jog; Saturday - jog
3. Get 5 servings of veggies and 4 servings of fruit each day.

My reward for getting those 3 things done each day this week is to get my haircut. I don't need to get the haircut anytime soon so once I've done those things for an entire week I will cut my hair! Hopefully it will be next week and not later!

How are you doing?

Hello! Hope you are doing well now :)

I was a good girl this morning and I didn't weigh. I am trying my hardest to wait until Monday morning. My shoulder hurt this morning from yesterday but this morning was cardio so I am hoping that it feels better by tomorrow.

I been pretty good still with the calories. I have made either chicken and veggies or tuna salads for my quick meals. That is going well.

I am SO happy tomorrow is Friday, that means I will have made it through the first work week of the challenge :)

How is it going over there?

There are so many great ways to make "meals" healthy. Spark has some great articles with quick ideas that can help you as well if you look under the Nutrition articles. Make sure that you are eating enough because you don't want to shut down your metabolism. It is such a careful balance!

Way to get getting in the workout even though you were sore!

I do plan my meals but my problem this week has been TOM and my FIL visit. When my in-laws are in town it always causes me to eat horribly. Part of it is that he brings things into the house that I don't normally have there which tempt me and he wants to eat out a lot but some of it is also I get stressed and don't handle it well. Oh well, he is gone now!

Really good actually! I have felt weird because usually I have a meal replacement shake every day, but I ran out and since I am in Korea I can't get more until my family ships me some next week, so I have had to prepare more "meals" than normal, but I am determined to wear a bikini at the end of this month so I am doing well so far... I have had between a 500-750 calorie deficit every day... not the 1000 that I would like but I am getting somewhere.

I was really sore this morning, but I still got up and did my hiit, and my shoulders/arms workout. I have not have self control about the scale. I really am going to try not to weigh again until Monday morning!

Good luck with your eating for the rest of the week. Do you plan your meals? Why do you think you have not been doing as well as you would like to?

Way to go! I'm a bit behind...

Yesterday I did my walk and my bike ride as I planned but I didn't get my strength in because my FIL was in the room where I normally do my workout and I didn't want to wake up my daughter. Today I didn't do my normal morning swim because DH had to take FIL to the airport so I had to stay with DD but I'm going tonight to work with the coach on swimming so I'll get in a good workout then.

It is my eating that is AWFUL! Yesterday I was over my calories by a WHOLE BUNCH!!! Today, if I stay on plan, I'll be over by just about 25 calories but I didn't come close to meeting my 5 veggies and 4 fruits for the day.

How is your eating going?

All right!

I am debating between chalean extreme/insanity hybrid and just insanity. My body responds well with resistance training, but I also need to be doing cardio 6 days a week for my body type.

Whatever the case, I will have it figured about by Monday :) I plan on 1000 calories on shorter workout days, and maybe 1100-1200 calories on longer workout days. 2lbs a week is a -1000 calories every day... that is hard!

Do you have a plan? Fitness program/schedule, and calorie intake plan? Start this Monday? I am happy to have support :)

Hello everyone! I would like to start a challenge! Start day is either April 30th (monday) or May 7th. I would like to start Monday if I can get others to join me!

The goal is to lose 2lbs a week for 2 months! Imagine what improvement that would be!

We can discuss details, but I wanted to see if anyone would be interested. Our hubbys would like us being sexy by summer right? :)

If anyone needs help picking a nutrition or fitness plan feel free to ask!
