I have been on a diuretic for about 10 months and I have been on a beta blocker for about 3 months. Before I was on medication when I would lose weight I would no longer be hypertensive, not high enough for medication. I began to notice from ups and downs in weight that my blood pressure got higher as my weight climbed. I am hoping that losing weight will lead to me being able to get off the medication but I know sometimes people still have high blood pressure. One of my biggest concerns is that I want to have another child one day once I am healthy. Is it possible to have a child if you have high blood pressure? I know many medicines are not safe. I was just wondering if anyone knows or from their own experience has been able to have children while having high blood pressure? It really upsets me at times thinking I may not be able to if I cannot get off meds through diet, exercise, and weight loss.
