I am trying to bring my BP down without a prescription medication. 2 weeks ago my BP was 164/104 last week it was 144/99 and today it is 138/98; I am vitamin D deficient so I am on a high dose of D2 and I take Garlic, Omega 3, 6, 9, and am drinking Aloe Vera gel 2 times per day, as well as relaxation and exercising daily I hope to get m BP down without having to take and unnatural medications. I am praying for a good outcome.

Blessings and Peace,
Candi

My hbp was much higher about a week ago. The doctor told me to increase my med. It is working but I don't like the idea of increasing my meds. I have been back and forth to this site and I am grateful because I have making some change like walking in the morning. I knew that it would pay off. It just takes me time to realize and to act upon it. So thank you to everyone.

I was offically diagnosis with HBP yesterday with a reading of 156/90. Started my medication today. This was a wake up call for me. Just taking it one day at a time.

So was mine. For the first time last week (and every day since!). Here I've lost almost 50 lbs and have become very active and my usual 100-110/60-70 BP now ranges 140-150's over 90's. I thought they had heard it wrong, but I've checked it at work everyday and at various pharmacies and it's consistently high. Keeping a log for 2 weeks and going back to my doctor.

Good luck getting yours down to an acceptable level :-)

Good luck taking one day at a time. It is easy to say "don't worry", but much harder to get the brain to agree.

Every day I look at my own worst enemy in the mirror. Some day we will be friends. My ticker is lbs not kilos

Add a fish oil capsule and omega 3/6/9 daily. Side effects, you may have a fishy tasting burp at first.

Make sure you get your exercise every day. Really helps the blood pressure!

Hello and Yes, God will help us.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

"Only the water inside a ship can sink it. You are somebody! Act like it! " Virgil R. Trout

"If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired." -General George S Patton, U.S.Army, 1912 Olympian

Went to the doctor and my pressure was very high. Must get serious about no salt, and highly seasoned food. Stress also plays a part in elevating your pressure. I will learn to take one day at a time and remember that God will not give you more than you can bare.... and worrying does not help....Matthew 6:27.
