thanks for sharing...now I know why the dr.s checked my liver and kidney with blood work last week...find out the results on tuesday....I'm 38 and have SVT. Been on med for several years and they brought down my resting pulse from160- to 100. You can imagine how bad the blood pressure was, Still isn't good, very high.
So sorry to read of your kidney problems. High blood pressure DOES damage the kidneys when it is not controlled. That was one strike against you. And anti-inflamatories are very hard on them too.....but vitamins? That was a bummer for sure! Hope things improve for you alot more. You actually ARE ahead of the game, being your dad was gone at 45 from kidney disease.....

Thanks for the information and the warnings. Doctors and medicine are great but love of self, love of family, common sense and god in your life will save you, uplift you and bring you back to good health and happiness.
JUST FOR TODAY, ONE DAY AT A TIME
John 3:16 KJV - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I began having high blood pressure at age 45. It's been carefully monitored ever since, as well as, I've been taking prescribed meds faithfully. Now, I'm 73 and was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure. Diuretics have been stopped, which were killing my kidneys, as well as an anti-inflammatory drug. Also, the doctor removed the vitamin supplements. I went up to stage 3 and am now stabilized there. There were probably more things I could have done earlier to help myself, such as diet, exercise and weight loss. My dad died at age 45 with kidney disease so I have no doubt inherited a problem as well. Please take the warning! If you're overweight and need to alter your diet....do so now before it causes big problems later on.
