The DASH diet when implemented correctly is probably the best diet possible. I am losing weight steadily at average 1-3 lb a week. Losing weight using the DASH diet and the RESPeRATE machine is what is helping me get my blood pressure under control.

Happy New Year everyone. I have now been on the DASH diet for 2 months and have been using the RESPeRATE machine for one month. I can honestly say that I am amazed at the difference in my blood pressure. I have gone from 178/98 down to 123/65 and I feel wonderful. I am not sure if it is down to one or the other or a combination of both but something is working. I grow loads of sprouted seeds in my kitchen and wheatgrass and juice a lot every day and I will continue to do so from now on because the difference speaks volumes. I exercise on an exercise bike 15 mins morning and afternoon (snow is too deep to walk out) and I feel better than I have done in 20 yrs and as I am nearly 72yrs old that is GREAT emoticon

I did find some information and that I could use. So I would say look at it, especially if your trying to lower your blood pressure.

I have used the D.A.S.H. Diet and just recently stopped it. It works great. It helped me lose weight and bring my HBP way down. I stopped it because of my new temporary diet I have to use. Once this is over I plan on going back to the D.A.S.H. but I never used a book. I just looked the diet up on the internet and used it for free.

never read the book but do know the diet calls for a certain mg of sodium .can u tell what it is? 1500?? or?

I got my dash diet book today. I am excited about trying the plan because I really don't want to take more meds. For those of you that live by this book I really like to hear from you and some of your thoughts on the book... thanks
