Hi I thought I join in for this and see what others may be doing for their blood pressure. Sunny arizona you are right about getting a physical and sometime it is necessary to take pills
Also it depends where you are at with blood pressure sometime it is just diet and exercise and the doctors.

Some doctors are more apt to push pills than others,. I was on a lot of pills after my heart attack but with diet and exercise and not eating processed foods or any junk food for that matter and not only watching calories but SODIUM is the biggie say what you want but that is the killer. I stay under 1500 mgs and it hard balanced diet. I now am taking only one pill for my heart. I go every 6 months to the doctor for a physical and I am better now at 60 than I was at 50. Fact ! I am enjoying life without the red meat , and junk / processed foods. Good luck at the doctor. Chat with all later.

A year from now you will wish you started

WELCOME! You just tell that doc, NO MORE PILLS, you want a complete and TOTAL Physical, including what I said!!!

Too many Docs, think a pill is the answer. I see WAY too many folks in the hospital, with terrible diagnoses, that might have been prevented by a Doc actually listening to their patient!!!

As a nurse, my advice, before "doctoring" yourself, is to get a complete physical!!!

Ask for a complete blood workup to include a complete thyroid profile, liver profile, AND vitamin D levels.

There may be more to your feeling of being sluggish and run down than just a lack of vitamins.

Back when I was a teen, you took GERITOL for your complaint!!! However, TODAY, your best advice is as stated above!

Good luck! And keep us informed!
