April is my favorite month of the year! It is usually not too cold and not too hot. I LOVE spring! I also love EASTER and my birthday is in April!

I have been trying to workout as many days in a row that I can for this month. I have missed just 3 days this month. I am hoping to try again for April and get this number to zero.

It can get hard and discouraging. That is why so many of us don't keep this up. Try ten minutes. Ten minutes will often/most of the time increase to 20 and that is important, but the better part is that you are still doing something.

My daughters have run it a few times but not the last couple of years. They enjoy the run and the scenery.

I knew a woman who ran it with her family every year and she had last run it at 82!

We should all be so spry and healthy.

Yeah, you should do it next year. People came from all over to run. One guy I chatted with while waiting in the port a john line was from Australia. The gal I sat next to on the bus was from Arizona. There were a lot of people from the Salt Lake area that ran too. I met a couple from SL and they said they come to Moab every year just to run in all the races.

The weather for the Canyonlands Half Marathon in Moab today was perfect. No wind. No rain. No sun. What a great race to run. Highly recommended. There is only one big hill on the route, and it is very scenic.

There were almost 5,000 runners. Out of the 5,000 runners, 3,000 of them were female!!!!! A crowd ran with me the whole way I couldn't get away from them. They gave out a really nice medal for those who finished too.

Continue walking my dogs, and add biking with them as the snow recedes. Do an exercise video of some sort at least 3x a week. Figure out the right caloric intake for me--Sparkpeople said I needed to increase it, but that has resulted in weight gain, so need to re-calculate...

I am going to attend yoga class at least once a week and practice at home at least 3x/wk.

I am going to walk everyday for at least 10 minutes.

Fitness: Improve flexibility in knees. Been a long winter. Strengthening and flexibility exercises 3 or more times a week.

Eating: track meals and enjoy fruits and veggies with every meal including breakfast

Personal: clean out one cupboard a week and organize desk.
