Yesterday I did strength training for legs for 45 minutes. Today I did the elliptical for 45 minutes. I'm up to day 9 on my streak. Yay!

I'm with you 100%. First about sticking with it 10 minutes, because that's when my body is screaming at me to stop it. But also because when I'm training, I put my long runs on Sunday too, because it's so quiet and peaceful. It's really nice!

Yes, great it was! It was snowing lightly when I started out, but quit by the time I was finishing. I love the moment my body warms up and I get in the "zone." It's so important for me to stick with the first 10 minutes or so. That is when my body is resisting, "What the heck are you thinking? It's cold out here." Sunday runs are the best. All is quiet, calm, and peaceful.

Way to go on finishing a full week of working out!

Good morning!

Yesterday I did a 45 mnute circuit training workout video. This morning I did a 30 minute kickboxing video. Today marks a full week of not missing a workout for me - I'm excited!

I was able to get out and run/walk this morning before work. Quite an accomplishment for a Friday. I usually talk myself into sleeping a few extra minutes. Here's to streaking!

You're SO right - the dark and cold definitely contribute to sleepy feelings.

I had to fight them off hard this morning, but I made it out for a 3 mile run. I lifted weights last night, which makes four days in a row for me.

I am, of course, referring to an activity streak!

This can be such a hard time of year for weight loss. Many of us are running around to activities and parties, shopping, eating...But a little activity can help! Not just to counteract the cookies, but to help bring us some calm and sanity.

So let's all try to do something active for 10 minutes (at least) each day. Once you're done, come tell us what you did and how you feel.
