GOCOUGARS, you and your husband are in our prayers. Now is not the time to worry about weight and calories. Give yourself permission to focus on your family and don't feel any guilt about not tracking calories. Stock up on, and eat, healthy foods so you have the stamina to bear this. We'll be thinking of you and your husband.
GOCOUGARS, I'm so sorry to hear that your husband has a brain tumor. I pray you have been able to get good medical advice for him. Don't sweat the last week or so of not tracking your food. Just stay healthy! Keep us posted.

I have been so very bad for the last week or so at tracking my calories. My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor and we have been traveling all over Utah valley and Salt Lake valley visiting doctors, geeting medical tests, and getting doctor reports. Too much on my plate right now. Hopefully soon I'll get back on the saddle but for now I will just have to trust what I have learned in the past few months to make the right food choices.
My body is a gift, a blessing from Heavenly Father. I must take care of it by avoiding harmful substances, by eating the right foods, and by staying active. My body is part of who I am, and I am a child of God.
