A 50/50 mix of peroxide & water in a spray bottle lightens hair..and vinegar keeps it softened..

Peta has a cruelty free shopping guide that you can order and they will send.

You can also look at the PDFs on this page along with search companies or products:

I used to work shows and our booth was always next to the Peta booth and I became friends with the gal who would work the booth. I would come home with a pile of literature and awakened to the abuse. Just awful. I have an old beaten up shopping guide from the last show I attended that is outdated. Time for me to have them send another one that is updated:)

I saw this site.. it reminds us that nothing is truly predicable... and I don't know of anything that you could use that would give you a guarantee........ you might want to check it out..... Lemon juice does make PERMANENT CHANGES and not easy on your hair... Just sayin'........be careful.

I would pay the big bucks to have it done and not take any chances if you have beautiful dark hair now....

So I hate the natural color of my hair. It's way too dark for my complexion. I want to highlight it but I'm not sure where to find hair color that is cruelty free? Does anyone know of any? I'd prefer permanent color. I've thought about using lemon juice to do it naturally but I'm not sure how it would turn out. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks.
